So, AERALIS has been released!!! And FROST is temporarily on sale at $0.99 to celebrate!!

I am very excited about it, and I want to spread the word to the ENTIRE INTERNET.

Well, at least SOME of the internet. :D

Also, I am writing a new Frost novelette called Fugitive that will be released (hopefully!) in late October or early November, and a Frost novelette called Brewer that will be released in late November or sometime in December.

I was thinking about who to dedicate them to, and then I had the idea to dedicate each of them to a fan of the Frost.

Of course, how to choose??? There are a lot of you. :)

Where Do You Read?

Right now in Georgia the weather is perfect for reading. The air is slightly cool and just crisp enough to remind me of a fresh apple. Leaves are trickling down from the sky like ticker tape, and the sunlight slants just so through my windows and makes patterns on the floors of every room.

In other words, FALL.

I find myself more eager to read (and write) in the fall. There's something in the air, a kind of energy that I can't quite describe or even fully understand. It gets into my blood and makes me hungry for stories. I've been spending a lot of time curled up on (or in!) my bed, snuggled up with a book and dreaming of other worlds.

Do you have a favorite place to read? Writers, do you have a favorite place to write?

Mine, for both, is in bed no matter what time of day it is.

Well, I'm excited.

Once Upon a Beanstalk appeared for sale on Amazon at $0.99 late last night. Today it was #53 in the top 100 Fantasy Anthologies on Amazon, which was pretty fun to see (but by the time I took a screenshot it had dropped to #59... boo).

So anyway, if you have a Kindle and like funny, twisty short stories ... head on over and check it out. Feel free to like it or tag it too ;-)

Anyway, it isn't available on Smashwords or Barnes and Noble yet (those files have not been formatted, but hopefully they'll be ready for upload by the end of the week!), but when it is I will be giving away a few free copies in exchange for honest reviews. I'll have more info about that later.

I have gone ahead and changed my name to Kate Avery Ellison on GoodReads, Twitter, this blog, Barnes and Noble, Amazon, and Smashwords. I think that about covers it ... I am still searchable as Kate Ellison, of course, but this way the other author's books aren't showing up in the lists of mine.
