The thing I find most helpful when I don't have the time to write is simply brainstorming. I carry a small notepad around with me and jot down random thoughts that come to me. Sometimes I even record voice memos on my phone. Another way to improve your writing is to read. Read lots of different material. Experience a variety of writing styles and then apply them to your own writing. Great stuff! Keep writing!Jaimehttp://jkbutseriously.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2876403658608858252.post-15118611594359827842011-03-26T10:00:56.230-07:002011-03-26T10:00:56.230-07:00Amazingly - TV is a great tool to be a better writ...Amazingly - TV is a great tool to be a better writer as well. I think that we learn characterization by getting to know people and how they think. We learn to write emotions by living them.

The lessons are endless.

:-)Misha Gerrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06364173848456424521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2876403658608858252.post-10122034197084216892011-03-23T18:45:19.737-07:002011-03-23T18:45:19.737-07:00Hey, I think being self-assured really does help. ...Hey, I think being self-assured really does help. Because if you have massive issues with confidence, you might never pursue your full potential. Or ever query at all, or go to conferences, or do all the other things we hopefuls have to do to get noticed.Kate Avery Ellisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16639363051736890588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2876403658608858252.post-16186406137336513342011-03-22T15:40:02.386-07:002011-03-22T15:40:02.386-07:00I love this post.
