NaNo Stats and an Interview with Angie Azur

Hey, all!

I have an interview up with Angie Azur on her blog Writing Teazurs. You should check it out... She asked me some really interesting and thoughtful questions, ones I hadn't had before, and it was a ton of fun to respond.

Read the interview!

In other news, I am hard at work on this (semi) NaNoWriMo book. I'm at about 15k, but hopefully I can squeeze out a couple thousand words today. I think I'm finally hitting my groove with the story.

How are your word counts coming, NaNoers?

  1. Congrats on the word count!! That's a good number. I passed 12K last night, and hoping to keep ahead of the curve for a few days this month I know I won't be able to write. Like this coming Saturday, and the next weekend, and Thanksgiving weekend.

  2. Joshua: I'm not going to be able to write this weekend or Thanksgiving either, and not much next week (but hopefully some!) ... whoever decided to make NOVEMBER NaNoWriMo, anyway? Jan or Feb or March would've all been much better months. There's nothing much going on during them!

  3. That's a great word count. Well done!

  4. oooh katie! you're doing awesome! i'm at about 17, but i had to take last night off, for the first night in nov, because i was so scatterbrained and spacy at work yesterday everyone thought i was sick or something terrible was going on.

  5. Sarah: Thanks!

Vic: That doesn't sound good... be sure to take care of yourself!

  6. You're doing awesome! November IS a bad month for this. Why couldn't they have picked something like January? NaJaWriMo! It has a certain ring to it. :)
