AUTHOR OF FANTASY, SCI FI, AND YOUNG ADULT FICTION
I love it!!!!!! I do the same thing.
HAHA this has happened to me more times than I should allow it to! Most recently with A Million Suns, I could not put it down
I can happily say this has NEVER happened to me. I love my sleep too much. But, this is also why I start a book in the morning. :)
HA! This happened to me last night. I sat down to work on my book, opened someone else's, and read until 1:30. (And then I still had to fold my laundry! ;))
That's the only time I get to read, so I have to live with that possibility! :o)
Well if that's the only time you have, then I say it's worth it.
Ah, yes. Me too. Why is it that "this time" I always think I'll be able to read just a little bit.
Exactly. I am so delusional about it. Sometimes I even pick what I think will be a boring book, and then it ends up being a new favorite.
This happens to me far to often, its worse when you realise your up too late because the sun is starting to shine through the curtains.
:) Yep. Been there. That's the only time everybody stops bugging you, y'know? Normally that would be writing time, but past a certain point in the evening/morning I become ineffective as a writer... so obviously the next best thing to do is read... and then... 3:00 in the morning rolls around...
Yeah... late night is my favorite time to either write or read. Nobody bothers me and I can completely devote myself to it. And then I start playing the "just one more chapter" game, and before I know it the night is half over.
Many a time my Honey has had to pull a book out of my hands and turn the light off after I've fallen asleep trying to read 'just one more chapter'.
ooh! me too! me too! curse you authors and you wonderful stories!!! :)
Been there. I do that with video games, too. Which is why I set an alarm so I don't play too long. Otherwise I would start at 8:30 after the kids are in bed and stay up until 3 or 4 playing.
True. I've stayed up till 2 AM playing Skyrim a couple times.
